Buccaneers Should Sign Greg Hardy

As the Bucs continue to search for a pass rusher to help out Gerald McCoy, there is one player that comes to mind. That player is Greg Hardy. Last season the Dallas Cowboys signed Hardy to a one year deal worth up to $13.1 million. Shortly after the signing the organization was hit hard with his 2014 domestic violence arrest and caused many headaches for coach Jason Garrett.

He has had off the field issues such as staying out late partying and even slapping a clipboard out of coaches hands. There is no doubt that Hardy is extremely talented on the field. This is a player who has recorded 40 career sacks and 168 tackles.

In my opinion I feel it would be good for the Bucs to sign him to an affordable deal with incentives with the hope he returns to his Pro Bowl form. He has the talent if not more then a Charles Johnson or a Robert Ayers who the Bucs have held visits with with Hardy being able to come at a cheaper rate.

In 2012 Hardy recorded 11 sacks and in 2013 he recorded 15 sacks all with the Carolina Panthers and 6 sacks with Dallas in limited playing time because of suspension  . These are the kind of numbers the Bucs are hoping somebody can achieve.
