NFL NEWS:Tim Tebow Could Be In Play For Broncos

With Brock Osweiler bolting to the Houston Texans to sign a big contract, that leaves the Denver Broncos in a tough spot at the quarterback position. The only quarterback on the roster is a young man by the name of Trevor Siemian. Denver will be looking to add at least two quarterbacks before the start of training camp. Which leads me to this interesting question. Should the Broncos entertain a possible reunion with Tim Tebow? Yes, Tim Tebow’s name has come up in discussions.   Tebow was invited to training camp last season with the Philadelphia Eagles and was released after a few preseason games. In 2010, John Elway traded into the first round to select Tebow out of the University of Florida. During the 2011 season Tebow averaged only 6.4 yards per pass, throwing for 12 touchdowns and 6 interceptions with a passer rating of 72.9. He also accounted for 660 rushing yards and 6 rushing touchdowns. Tebow then went on to lead Denver to a postseason victory over Pittsburgh with a long touchdown pass to all pro wide receiver Demaryius Thomas. Tebow quickly became a fan favorite during his time in Denver. But the chances of Tebow returning are  slim, but the fact of his name coming up shows the urgency Denver has to fill the position. Tebow is also considering  in the CFL for a season or two and develop his throwing mechanics. Tebow will turn 29 this summer and time is running thin on him returning to football period
